Responsibilities

• Safely dismantle vehicles using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Identify and remove vehicle parts such as engines, transmissions, body panels, and electrical components with precision.
• Use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters to test electrical systems and ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Maintain organized records of dismantled parts, including descriptions and condition reports.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues during disassembly to determine the best removal methods.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
• Support the overall efficiency of the dismantling process by preparing vehicles for disassembly and cleaning work areas.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on vehicles or automotive systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and socket sets.
• Experience operating power tools safely and effectively in a mechanical environment.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment like ohmmeters for electrical testing.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and components is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
