Automotive Parts Specialist

Job Overview
Advanced Plating specializes in restoration and plating of various components. We employ a team of metal restoration and plating specialists who meticulously prepare and finish each item to meet high standards of quality. We collaborate with skilled builders and collectors on various projects.

We are looking for a Sales and Customer Service parts Specialist with automotive parts knowledge to join our growing team. This role involves assisting customers with plating service inquires, providing quotes and guiding them through the plating or coating process. You will be the key contact for retail and professional custom car builders to ensure a seamless customer experience.

*Some travel and some weekends. We attend large automotive events across the USA.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with their plating requirements.
• Manage customers using Sage Software.
• Process sales transactions using POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Maintain organized records of inventory, sales, and order fulfillment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the plating departments.
• Demonstrate communication skills with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in aftermarket automotive field a plus.
• Proficiency in inventory.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with phone etiquette proficiency.
• Retail experience.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
