What This Role Really Is

This is not an “order taker” position.

As a Service Advisor at Ewert’s, you are the guide our customers rely on during stressful and often unexpected situations. You’ll help educate clients, prioritize repairs, communicate clearly, and build long-term trust — all while keeping workflow organized and efficient.

You’ll work closely with our technicians, management team, and customers to create the same consistent, high-quality experience every single day.

• The ability to balance hospitality with accountability

We can help teach automotive knowledge.
What’s much harder to teach is attitude, professionalism, empathy, and genuine people skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build relationships with customers and guide them through the repair process
• Clearly explain repair recommendations with honesty and confidence
• Help customers prioritize repairs based on safety, budget, and vehicle needs
• Manage estimates, approvals, timelines, and communication
• Coordinate closely with technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Keep communication clear between customers, techs, and management
• Deliver a high-level customer experience from drop-off to pickup
• Help maintain a positive, professional, drama-free culture

Automotive experience is a plus — but strong communication, sales ability, emotional intelligence, and professionalism matter even more.
