MECHANICAL SERVICE ADVISOR

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Auto Mechanical Supervisor to manage the mechanical operations of our garage. The candidate will lead a team of technicians, ensure high-quality repairs, and maintain efficient workflow while meeting customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily mechanical repair and maintenance activities
• Diagnose complex vehicle issues and guide technicians on repairs
• Allocate jobs and monitor progress to meet deadlines
• Ensure all work is completed to high quality and safety standards
• Coordinate with service advisors and customers regarding repair status
• Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness, and safety compliance
• Monitor tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory
• Train and mentor junior mechanics

Requirements:

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in automotive mechanical repairs
• At least 2–3 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, suspension, and electrical systems
• Ability to diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Diploma/Certification in Automotive Engineering or related field preferred
