Automotive Service Receptionist

Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Automotive Service Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our customers. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, coordinating appointments, and supporting the service team to ensure a positive customer experience from vehicle drop-off to pick-up.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive repair environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
- Check customers and vehicles into the service management system.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Schedule and confirm service appointments.
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records.
- Communicate with customers regarding appointment details and vehicle pickup times.
- Coordinate vehicle pick-ups and customer check-outs.
- Process payments and provide invoices to customers.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Assist service advisors and technicians with administrative tasks as needed.
- Follow company procedures for customer service, scheduling, and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred.
- Automotive industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient with computers, email, and scheduling software.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
