Automotive Service Technician – Chevrolet Dealership

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM | No Weekends

Genesis Chevrolet in Eastpointe, MI is actively seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician / Auto Mechanic to join our growing dealership service department. If you have strong diagnostic skills, dealership experience, and Michigan state certification, we want to meet you.

Automotive Technician Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Chevrolet vehicles and other makes
• Engine repair, transmission service, brake repair, suspension, steering, electrical diagnostics
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections
• Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer standards
• Accurately document repair orders and communicate with service advisors
• Maintain ASE and state certifications

Automotive Technician Requirements

• 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience
• Michigan State Mechanic Certification (required)
• ASE Certification (preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment
