Our Service Technicians work Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the company.
In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to change lives every single day. One day, you and your team might be helping a disabled Veteran regain their independence. The next, you could be supporting the parents of a child with special needs or someone recovering from a major life event who is ready to drive again. You’ll work with innovative products — wheelchair-accessible vehicles, mobility seating, hand controls, scooters, lifts, and other driving aids — to bring mobility solutions to people of all ages and life stages. Most importantly, you’ll build lasting relationships and experience the joy of improving lives.
The Service Technician will be responsible the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of adaptive equipment, driving aids, restraint systems, wheelchair lifts and other mobility equipment related to the automobile. Please see below for a more detailed list of responsibilities.
Communicate with customers and coworkers to confirm service needs.
Diagnose, repair, and install automotive mobility and electrical equipment per company and NMEDA standards.
Inspect and test vehicles for quality, damage, and compliance; document findings and repairs.
Review and ensure quality of work completed by other technicians.
Maintain accurate service, repair, and installation records.
Drive vehicles for diagnostics, customer pick-up/drop-off, and post-service delivery.
Keep work areas, tools, and shop facilities clean and organized.
Respond to after-hours service calls, including on-site visits when needed.
Support training and supervision of apprentice technicians.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior automotive repair experience strongly preferred; electrical experience a plus.
Valid driver’s license required for service evaluations, test drives, and parts/supplies transport.
Training
Training provided at your home store, with additional sessions available at other Superior locations or vendor facilities.
All training time, travel, and expenses are fully covered.
