Automotive Technician

Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, steering/suspension, AC/heat components, and electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive diagnostic repair tools to complete repairs efficiently.
• Execute wheel alignments and ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) calibrations to ensure vehicle safety features operate correctly.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems.
• Service vehicles with routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations/replacement, and fluid replacements.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Requirements

• Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair (Ford Certified is a plus)
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, ADAS calibration, and diagnostics equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge of engines, transmissions, diesel engines, steering/suspension, AC/heat, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Experience working with Ford vehicles or similar brands is preferred but not required.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and auto estimating software.
• Ability to read technical manuals and interpret schematics accurately.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
• Valid mechanic license or certification is a plus; ongoing training in automotive technology is encouraged. Embark on a career where your technical skills make a real difference! Service Technician Schedule

Our service technicians are scheduled M-F 8-5 and typically one scheduled Saturday per month from 8-1PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour
