JR. TECHNICIAN -FLEET

Job Purpose

To ensure the mobilized assets in EKFC operate smoothly to ensure business continuity by constantly seeking ways to improve performance at minimal operating costs in compliance with all required safety standards, legal and government regulations.

Functions & responsibilities

Carry out all scheduled / non- scheduled maintenance services and repairs under the guidance of the concerned supervisor in the most efficient manner.
Inspect and record all necessary readings on the checklist.
Ensure proper handling of tools and optimizes use of consumables.
Ensure that all work activities are carried out in an efficient, professional and tidy manner before, after and during the job.
Communicate with supervisor on the work performed and handover jobs that are still pending before the end of the shift.
Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment's (PPE's) while performing maintenance services.
Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 International Standards and execute his/her responsibility according to the department work procedures reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.
Performs other duties as assigned

Education Qualification:
High School Certificate Qualification or equivalent qualification (must have).
TI/ITC (Industrial Training Institute) Certification or equivalent qualification -Trade test certificate (preferred)

Work Experience:
Minimum 3 yrs experience in similar role in ground support equipment workshops/organizationsin the field of vehicle /Ground support equipment maintenance
Knowledge and working experience on Mechanical, Auto electrical, Vehicle instrumentation, Automobile Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration systems, Tyre maintenance, welding or Fabrication.

Skills:
Able to understand written and spoken English.
Technical & Analytical Skills.
rained in First Aid, Safety/ basic firefighting (preferred).
