Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and powertrains.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently.
• Service and maintain vehicles by performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and alignments.
• Troubleshoot and repair vehicles features to ensure proper functionality.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to facilitate precise repairs on complex electrical systems.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs, estimates, and maintenance recommendations while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership experience or service technician experience in an automotive setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, including primarily Hyundai and Genesis.
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as alignments, powertrain repairs, transmission servicing, and diesel engine repairs.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to clients. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.10 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
