Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles and diesel engines. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive schematics and electronic testing tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various systems including engine, transmission, powertrain, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
- Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and tire rotations.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools efficiently.
- Repair or replace components related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), alignments, transmissions, and other critical systems.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Document all work performed accurately for auto estimating purposes and warranty compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including alignments and vehicle inspections.
- Familiarity with automotive schematics, ADAS calibration procedures, and the use of diagnostic software tools.
- Experience working with GM vehicles is a plus but not required.
- Prior experience with auto estimating software is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
