Your hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, transmissions, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) will be key to success in this energetic environment.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive schematics and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly.
• Repair and replace mechanical components including engines, transmissions, powertrain parts, and diesel engines with precision.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment systems to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
• Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including sensors for ADAS features like lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex vehicle systems effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety standards are met or exceeded.

Experience

• Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a strong track record in automotive repair.
• Hands-on experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics software and schematics for efficient troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ADAS calibration, wheel alignments, and electrical system testing.
• Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and general vehicle maintenance practices.
• Experience in auto estimating processes and working within a team to meet repair deadlines.
