Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
  • Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly.
  • Repair and replace powertrain components such as transmissions, engines (including diesel engines), and other mechanical systems with precision.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
  • Work on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and troubleshooting to ensure modern safety features operate correctly.
  • Interpret technical manuals and schematics to guide repairs on vehicles of all makes and models with complex automotive electrical systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a automotive technician with a strong background in automotive repair.
  • Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair.
  • Skilled in using automotive diagnostics software, schematics reading, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform vehicle maintenance effieciently and effectively.
  • Experience working on vehicles of all makes and models.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
