Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and powertrains, ensuring quality workmanship.
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical problems.
• Service vehicles by replacing worn or damaged parts, performing wheel alignments, brake repairs, diesel engine repairs, and other maintenance tasks.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive tools to complete repairs safely and effectively.
• Interpret vehicle service manuals and auto estimating software to determine necessary repairs and communicate findings clearly to customers.
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

Experience

• Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive repair environments.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and schematics interpretation.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including wheel alignment, transmission repairs, diesel engine repair, and welding.
• Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; experience with auto estimating software is desirable.
• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and build trust.
• Prior experience working with automotive diagnostics tools and troubleshooting complex electrical or mechanical issues.
