Job Summary
We are seeking a flat rate "A" or "B" tech preferably with State Inspection License as well. We are extremely busy and need someone who is motivated and reliable. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle repairs and maintenance, utilizing your technical expertise to ensure our customers’ vehicles operate safely and efficiently. We are equipped with all of the newest/updated diagnostic scanners, equipment, BG Machines, A/C machines etc.

Duties

• Diagnose automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and schematics to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems.
• Perform repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, and other vehicle systems.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and fluid replacements.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment to complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and repair procedures to ensure quality workmanship on all vehicles.
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers and advisors.

Requirements

• Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong mechanical background.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience with, alignments, transmissions, and powertrain systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures across various makes and models.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and auto estimating software.
• Valid mechanic certification or relevant ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications preferred. Join our team at Chick's Services where your skills will be valued!
