Automotive Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with enthusiasm and precision. Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
• Conduct wheel alignments, brake repairs, steering repairs, and suspension work to optimize vehicle handling and safety.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex problems effectively.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete repairs efficiently.
• Service vehicles according to manufacturer specifications, including routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high quality standards.

Skills

• Proven dealership or service center experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
• Knowledge in suspension systems including lift kits, lowering kits, and or air ride.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems
• Expertise in diagnosing issues related to powertrains, transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive repair techniques.
• Mechanical aptitude with excellent understanding of schematics and automotive diagnostics software.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools required for vehicle repair.
• Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; experience working on diesel engines is highly desirable.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
