Automotive Technician - Audi

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake servicing, suspension repairs, and vehicle inspections, in line with Audi specifications.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using Audi-approved diagnostic tools and software (e.g., ODIS).
• Repair or replace defective components, including engines, transmissions, drivetrains, steering, air-conditioning, and infotainment systems.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and quality checks on new and used Audi vehicles.
• Ensure all repairs comply with Audi manufacturer standards, UAE road safety regulations, and dealership/service center policies.
• Accurately document diagnostic findings, repair work, parts usage, and labor hours in service management systems.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors and Parts Departments to ensure timely job completion and availability of required components.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Stay updated on Audi technical bulletins, recalls, software updates, and new model technologies through training and workshops.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Automotive Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Audi or other premium European brands.
• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle systems, including engine management, electrical/electronic systems, and diagnostics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service instructions.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, workshop equipment, and computerized service systems.
• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Basic proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred Requirements

• Audi Certified Technician status or equivalent OEM certification.
• Experience working in an authorized Audi dealership or premium automotive service center in the UAE or GCC.
