Automotive Technician- BMW

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on BMW vehicles, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Use BMW diagnostic tools (e.g., ISTA, ICOM) to identify faults accurately and efficiently
• Carry out routine services, inspections, and preventive maintenance as per BMW service schedules
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, suspension, braking systems, steering systems, and drivetrains
• Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle systems, including infotainment, driver assistance, and hybrid/electric components (where certified)
• Ensure all work complies with BMW quality standards, UAE road safety regulations, and dealership policies
• Complete job cards, inspection reports, and service documentation accurately and on time
• Perform road tests before and after repairs to ensure vehicle performance and safety
• Maintain tools, workshop equipment, and a clean, organized work environment
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
• Support service advisors with technical explanations when required
• Participate in BMW technical training and certification programs to maintain skill levels

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering
• BMW Technician Certification or experience working with BMW vehicles is highly preferred
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an automotive technician (BMW or premium brands preferred)
• Strong knowledge of modern automotive electrical and electronic systems
• Experience working in GCC/UAE automotive service environments is an advantage

• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in BMW diagnostic software and workshop tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Good time management and ability to meet productivity targets
• Basic computer literacy for service systems and reporting
• Effective communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
