Automotive Technician – Japanese & American Vehicles

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician to diagnose, service, and repair Japanese and American vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues on Japanese and American vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake service, tire service, and fluid services
• Conduct engine, transmission, suspension, and steering.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify vehicle issues accurately
• Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper operation
• Document work performed and communicate findings clearly to service advisors or management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures and shop policies

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of Japanese and American vehicle systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and scan tools
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE Certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• 3+ years of automotive repair experience
• Experience with computerized diagnostics and modern vehicle systems
