Our new building, constructed in 2022, was recently expanded and completed in September by another 8,000 square feet, doubling our size to 16,000 Square feet with 14 bays. As a result, we are in need of another Technician to join our team. We provide ongoing training programs and offer room to grow within the business as we continue to acquire additional shops. DCAR is a growing company, looking for like-minded people with integrity and honesty.

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and customer service skills. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting vehicle issues, and completing repairs in a timely manner. We offer a large customer base that provides our technicians with a steady and consistent workflow, along with a brand-new building with air conditioning and new equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, steering systems, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns.
• Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning.
• Explain repairs to customers in a professional manner when needed.
• Achieve and maintain all training requirements established by David's Certified Auto Repair and ASE
• Maintain and care for all shop tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean workspace, building, and lot.
• Handle customers' vehicles and property with care.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
• Own tools & ability to lift 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.50 - $50.00 per hour
