The Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing workshop operations, supporting and mentoring technicians, ensuring repair quality, and maintaining productivity within the workshop.
The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and excellent coordination with Service Advisors and management to ensure customer satisfaction and operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the proper allocation of work orders to Technicians.
- Ensure Technicians accurately clock on and off individual work operations.
- Monitor repair progress to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on time.
- Coordinate closely with Service Advisors to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
- Ensure Technicians maintain productivity and efficiency during working hours.
- Review work orders to ensure all repair instructions are clear and complete.
- Support, mentor, and guide Technicians in daily workshop operations.
- Personally assist in resolving repeat repair issues promptly and effectively.
- Assess customer concerns through inspections, road tests, or other suitable methods when required.
- Ensure all repairs follow manufacturer procedures and workshop standards.
- Verify the proper use of tools and equipment by Technicians.
- Translate customer concerns into clear technical instructions.
- Coordinate with manufacturers regarding technical support and reporting requirements.
- Promote workplace safety, environmental awareness, and protection of customer property.
- Review and assess repair quality and complete quality control documentation where applicable.
- Report work quality, tooling, and resource issues to the Workshop Manager.
- Minimize downtime through organized and disciplined workshop practices.
- Support Service Advisors during diagnostic procedures and vehicle handovers when required.
- Perform additional duties assigned by senior management to support company objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified and experienced Automotive Technician with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Automotive or related field.
- Valid driving license is mandatory.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks without compromising quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude with a fair and professional approach.
- Computer literate with knowledge of office automation systems and workshop software.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
Experience:
