AutoWorks Service Technician

Miracle Hill Ministries is South Carolina's largest and most comprehensive provider of homeless services. Summary / Purpose of Position:

The AutoWorks Service Technician position is responsible for performing vehicle service, diagnostics, and repair functions in support of the AutoWorks Department. In addition to technical responsibilities, this role assists with the instruction and mentorship of AutoWorks Workforce Development participants, supporting both their professional and spiritual growth within a Christ-centered environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform general service of vehicles.
• Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Assist with auto service operations to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Provide hands-on instruction, guidance, and support to AutoWorks Workforce Development participants.
• Contribute to the overall mission and spiritual development goals of the program and its participants.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with departmental standards and applicable regulations.
• Exhibit professionalism and a commitment to the ministry's values in all work-related activities.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five (5) or more years of experience in vehicle service preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to personal and professional integrity, consistent with Christian principles.
