Senior Help Desk Technician

Position Overview

As a Senior IT Help Desk Technician, you will be the go-to resource for resolving technical issues, supporting end-users, and a liaison to our MSP in maintaining our IT infrastructure. You’ll work closely with our MSP to ensure systems are secure, efficient, and reliable—helping our employees stay productive and connected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and other business applications.
  • Assist with user account management, permissions, and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with MSP on system upgrades, patches, and projects.
  • Document solutions, processes, and technical procedures.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of IT support experience, preferably in a Senior level or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and remote support tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
