AV Designer/Drafter (AV/Lighting/Shading/Control)

You Are:
AVI is seeking an experienced residential AV/ technology system designer that has specialized in luxury residential for many years. You are good with people and feel comfortable collaborating with a sales team along with direct client interaction. You love technology and are passionate about the creation of systems that enhance the lives of clients and enjoy working with a team to deliver on that goal.

You Have: Experience with Design/Layout/Drafting and proposal creation or residential technology systems using tools such as Portal, DTools/Visio, CAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and deep knowledge of Control Systems (Crestron, C4 & Savant), Lighting/Shading systems (Lutron), and Networks. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

Your Schedule:

• Full Time (40hrs/Wk)
• Mon-Fri from 8:00am to 5:00pm

Your Manager:

• Eric Peters, Owner

Your Contribution to AVI:

• Creation of design and engineering documentation for low-voltage system implementation in high end residences
• Produce a bill of materials (BOM) for proposals (DTools Cloud)
• Understand design software (Bluebeam, DTools/Visio at minimum, ideally CAD and or Revit)
• Deep understanding of signal flow, networks, lighting/shading systems, and control systems
• Understand the built environment and phases of construction projects

Requirements:

• +3yrs of Experience with Residential AV & Low-Voltage systems design and creation of documentation
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

AVI’s Contribution to You:

• $31/hr to $41/hr ($65k to $85k/yr) – Yup!
