AV Engineer – Projection Mapping

We are hiring an experienced AV Engineer to handle installation, operation, synchronization, and troubleshooting of audio-visual systems for live events, museums, exhibitions, immersive environments, and large-scale projection mapping on architectural and monument facades. Location : Delhi

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and operate projection systems, LED displays, audio systems, and AV control systems at site.
• Handle high-lumen laser projectors and execute alignment, edge blending, warping, geometry correction, focus, and calibration on complex architectural surfaces.
• Operate and manage Dataton WATCHOUT media servers and support Medialon or equivalent show control systems for cue-based and automated playback.
• Set up and operate sound systems including mixers, amplifiers, microphones, speakers, routing, and gain structure.
• Ensure accurate audio-video synchronization using timecode or cue-based workflows during rehearsals and live shows; support audio guide systems where applicable.
• Perform system testing, health checks, live show operations, safe shutdowns, and ensure compliance with SOPs, grounding, and cable management standards.
• Troubleshoot on-site AV issues and coordinate with OEMs, integrators, and vendors for timely resolution.
• Support rehearsals, events, and live shows, including evening/night operations and outdoor deployments, with flexibility for travel.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years of hands-on AV experience in events, exhibitions, museums, or permanent installations.
• Proven experience in large-scale projection mapping, preferably on monuments or architectural facades.
• Strong knowledge of audio systems, signal flow, AV sync, timecode, and show automation.
• Hands-on experience with high-lumen projectors, outdoor setups, and media server workflows.
• Working knowledge of Dataton WATCHOUT (mandatory / strong preference); Medialon, AMX, Crestron, Q-SYS is an advantage.
• Ability to perform under live-show pressure with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as per project needs.

Qualification

Diploma / Graduate in Electronics, Electrical, AV Technology, Sound Engineering, or related field.
