The AV Specialist is responsible for managing audio-visual and multimedia systems during new property openings overseeing setup, integration, and technical support for events and operations throughout the launch phase.
- Collaborate with project teams, designers, consultants, and contractors to define AV requirements during pre-opening planning and development.
- Lead the end-to-end AV setup and installation process, including sound, lighting, video walls, LED displays, projection, and multimedia systems.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks to ensure optimal performance before venue launch.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to source, install, and integrate AV equipment
- Provide on-site technical support during grand openings, launch events, and the initial operational period.
- Create and maintain documentation for AV system configurations, layouts, and operating procedures.
- Deliver training sessions for operational staff on proper use and maintenance of AV equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, technical specifications, and local regulations.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative AV solutions to enhance future projects.
- Support ongoing maintenance of AV systems post-opening, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.
- Support live entertainment, conferences, and special events with technical expertise
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on AV readiness, issues, and performance.
