Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive AV Technician to support the hotel’s daily operations and event requirements by providing efficient Audio-Visual (AV) services. The AV Technician will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of AV equipment for guest rooms, meetings, conferences, weddings, and other special events.

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment including microphones, speakers, projectors, video conferencing tools, LED screens, lighting, and control systems.
• Support live events, meetings, and functions across various hotel venues.
• Coordinate with the Events and Engineering teams to ensure smooth execution of audio-visual needs.
• Maintain, test, and inspect AV equipment on a regular basis.
• Provide technical assistance to guests, clients, and team members during events.
• Assist with inventory management and request repairs or replacements when needed.
• Keep up to date with the latest AV trends and technology relevant to the hospitality industry.
• Adhere to hotel safety standards and ensure secure handling of AV equipment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in AV Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within hospitality or events industry.
• Hands-on experience with AV systems (audio mixers, microphones, projectors, etc.).
• Knowledge of video conferencing platforms and hybrid event setups is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Good communication skills in English.
