Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with strong technical and project management skills to support aviation and landside infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-visibility projects while taking on increasing responsibility in design, task management, and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review contract documents including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Lead and coordinate project meetings with internal teams, clients, and subconsultants.
• Perform design computations and review survey data, maps, and geotechnical information.
• Ensure compliance with departmental quality control standards.
• Oversee or coordinate subconsultants and multidisciplinary support teams.
• Provide timely updates on project progress, schedules, and deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 4–8 years of civil design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Open Roads Designer/MicroStation.
• Strong skills in construction cost estimating and technical specification writing.
• Experience in task management and coordinating project deliverables.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circulars, Engineering Briefs, and Orders.
• Knowledge of DoD Unified Facilities Criteria.
• Road/highway design experience.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience.
• Working knowledge of project management (budgets, schedules, reporting).
