AVP - Anchor Acquisition

About the Role

As AVP - Anchor Acquisition for Yubi MENA's Supply Chain Finance business, you will lead and scale the origination and expansion of high-impact anchor relationships. You will be accountable for driving business growth, strategic partnerships, and embedding Yubi's product suite into key customer ecosystems.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Identifying and originating new anchors for Yubi's Supply Chain Finance business.
  • Understanding the anchor's problem statement and identifying the right product solution from Yubi's Supply Chain Finance offering.
  • Managing existing anchors and growing the overall AUM, driving cross sell/up sell across diverse product solutions under Supply Chain Finance.
  • Engaging with Yubi's lender team to launch programs for anchors and drive closures on program go live.
  • Engaging with anchors for business reviews on live programs and go to market strategy to grow AUM further or troubleshoot scaling challenges.
  • Negotiating agreements/engagement letters and commercials with anchors.
  • Driving growth of revenue & AUM.
  • Integrating anchors' ERP systems with Yubi's Supply Chain Finance system to create a deep moat.
  • Pitching and originating potential and existing anchors for Yubi's anchor supply chain finance platform.
  • Working on annual operating plans, business plans & projections periodically to ensure target achievement.
  • Promoting cultural values & ethos within the team and ensuring cultural fitment in line with the organization.
  • Enabling functional heads, team managers and leads by bridging gaps in technology, human resources, capital deployment and sharing market inputs/trends internally.
  • Partnering cross functionally with Product, Legal and Risk teams to design products specific to situations.
  • Assisting in creating product roadmaps and strategies in collaboration with tech and product teams.
  • Understanding business and technology challenges and aligning them with Yubi's offering.
Requirements
  • Willingness to deliver against revenue & business targets.
  • Willingness to travel to cover customers and lenders across the responsible geography.
  • Ability to understand and use CRM solutions to manage scale and business.
  • 12+ years of sales/account management experience in working with mid to large corporates, in supply chain finance at a Bank/NBFC/Fintech or relationship management experience in a Bank/NBFC/Fintech working with mid to large corporates.
  • Understanding of supply chain finance products and banking - working capital, factoring, vendor finance, dealer finance, bill discounting, reverse factoring.
  • Strong context of building and managing business relationships (CFOs, Treasury Heads, Business Heads, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers and cross functional teams internally.
  • Qualifications: CA / CFA / MBA (Finance).
