Ayurveda Doctor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Ayurvedic Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Ayurvedic principles and practices, along with the ability to integrate these with conventional medical approaches. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, conducting assessments, and developing personalized treatment plans that promote holistic health and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine individual health needs.
• Develop and implement personalized Ayurvedic treatment plans based on patient conditions and goals.
• Utilize EHR systems to maintain accurate patient records and track treatment progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, including referrals for medical imaging or specialist consultations as needed.
• Educate patients on Ayurvedic practices, nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and self-care techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance knowledge in Ayurvedic medicine.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements

• Doctor of Ayurveda (BAMS) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and experience with EMR/EHR systems.
• Familiarity with various medical specialties including but not limited to Psychiatry, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, and Dermatology is preferred.
• Experience in critical care settings or acute care environments is advantageous.
• Basic life support certification is required; additional certifications in relevant areas (e.g., pain management, addiction counseling) are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on complex health topics.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in patient assessment and documentation processes.
