Ayurveda Therapist (Female)

Job Summary:

The Ayurveda Therapist will provide professional and authentic Ayurvedic treatments and therapies to guests, ensuring the highest standards of service, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. The therapist will also assist in promoting wellness programs, maintaining treatment areas, and supporting the Ayurveda Doctor in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Ayurvedic therapies such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Kizhi, Udvarthanam, and other traditional treatments as per the doctor's prescription.
• Ensure all treatments are carried out in accordance with the prescribed Ayurvedic principles and hotel standards.
• Prepare therapy rooms and treatment materials before and after each session.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms, equipment, and linen.
• Conduct guest consultations (as per direction from the doctor) and understand individual needs and contraindications.
• Assist the Ayurveda Doctor during special treatments or Panchakarma procedures when required.
• Manage and record guest treatment details and preferences accurately.
• Ensure a calm, relaxing, and professional environment for guests.
• Promote Ayurveda treatments, wellness packages, and related retail products to guests.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Participate in training programs and team meetings to enhance professional knowledge and service quality.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Certificate in Ayurvedic Therapy or Panchakarma from a recognized institute.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a wellness center, Ayurvedic hospital, or resort.
• Sound knowledge of Ayurvedic therapies, oils, and herbal preparations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant personality with a service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Basic English communication skills preferred.

Work Conditions:

• Rotational shifts including weekends and public holidays.
• Physically fit to perform therapies for extended periods.
• Female candidates preferred as per operational requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹16,000.00 per month
