Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Export Executive to lead international business development and manage overseas client relationships for our Ayurvedic and nutraceutical product range. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of export procedures, global market trends, and regulatory requirements related to health and wellness products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. International Market Expansion
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets.
- Conduct market research to assess demand, competition, pricing, and regional regulations.
- Build strategic partnerships with distributors and channel partners globally.
2. Client Engagement & Sales
- Manage communication and relationships with international clients and distributors.
- Present product proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize contracts.
- Prepare Proforma Invoices (PI) and coordinate order processing through to dispatch.
3. Marketing Strategy
- Develop and execute export marketing campaigns tailored to regional and cultural preferences.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional materials and digital content suitable for various markets.
- Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and online promotional events.
4. Regulatory Compliance & Logistics
- Ensure compliance with all international trade laws, customs procedures, and health product regulations.
- Prepare and verify export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, etc.).
- Coordinate with logistics, shipping, and customs teams to ensure timely and smooth delivery.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track export sales performance, profitability, and market growth.
- Prepare regular reports and analysis to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
- Recommend strategy adjustments based on performance metrics and market feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in international business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum [5] years of experience in export sales, preferably in Ayurvedic, nutraceutical, or FMCG sectors.
- Strong knowledge of export documentation, incoterms, and global trade regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
