Location: Fort Defiance, AZ
Pay Rate: $60.00 $63.00/hr
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 3 years

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Med-Surg RN for a 13-week contract in Fort Defiance, AZ. This role supports a 20-bed medical-surgical unit caring for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with both adult and pediatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric Med-Surg patients
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments per facility standards
• Support inpatient care and assist with flu immunization clinics as needed
• Float to other qualified departments when required
• Maintain accurate documentation in RPMS
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Attend staff meetings and follow facility policies

Requirements

• Active Arizona RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg experience required
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric experience required
• Must be comfortable with adult and pediatric patients
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• RPMS experience preferred
• Must be flexible for nights, days, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed
