About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Registered Nurse Neuro Trauma ICU / Surgical ICU for a 13-week day shift assignment in Chico, CA. This role supports a Level II Trauma NT/SICU unit with a 12-bed, 2:1 patient ratio, specializing in neuro and trauma patients. The nurse must be confident caring for high-acuity critical care patients and willing to float as needed.
Responsibilities
<ul><li>Provide direct nursing care in a Neuro Trauma/Surgical ICU setting.
</li><li>Care for neuro, trauma, and high-acuity critical care patients.
</li><li>Manage patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains.
</li><li>Monitor patient condition and respond quickly to clinical changes.
</li><li>Administer medications, treatments, and critical care interventions.
</li><li>Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC.
</li><li>Float to CVU, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, or Med/Surg units as needed.
</li><li>Follow Level II trauma, safety, and infection control standards.
</li><li>Support holiday coverage as required.
</li></ul>Requirements
<ul><li>Active California Registered Nurse license required.
</li><li>Minimum 5 years of acute critical care experience required.
</li><li>Level II trauma critical care experience required.
</li><li>Neuro ICU, SICU, or ICU experience required.
</li><li>BLS required.
</li><li>ACLS required.
</li><li>EPIC charting experience required.
</li><li>Previous travel nursing experience required.
</li><li>Must be willing to float as needed.
</li><li>Must be a W-2 employee of the submitting agency.

Schedule: Night Shift, 6:00 PM 6:30 AM 
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week 
Experience: Minimum 1 year required
About the Role
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night-shift contract opportunity in Herrin, Illinois. This role provides respiratory care in a hospital setting and requires strong patient assessment, treatment planning, communication, and flexibility to float to clinically appropriate units as needed.
Responsibilities
Provide respiratory care according to physician orders and patient care plans 
Assess patient outcomes and adjust respiratory care plans with the multidisciplinary team 
Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, procedures, and discharge needs 
Communicate with medical and nursing staff to support safe and effective care 
Float to appropriate units as needed within scope, licensure, and demonstrated competency
Requirements
Active Illinois Respiratory Therapist License Required 
RRT Or CRT Credential Required 
BLS/BCLS Certification Required 
NRP-MHC Certification Required 
Associate's degree required; EPIC experience preferred
