Role Overview:
The role involves supporting Azure cloud services, IT infrastructure, user support, networking, server management, application deployment, and IT asset management under the supervision of senior IT staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and managing Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Support Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Gateways, VPN, and basic cloud networking.
- Assist in SQL Server monitoring, backup checks, and user access support.
- Support application deployment and troubleshooting on IIS.
- Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, internet, and system issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Support basic network troubleshooting, including LAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration, and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with senior team members and ISPs for internet-related issues.
- Assist in managing IP phones, extensions, and communication support.
- Maintain IT asset records, inventory lists, tagging, and allocation details.
- Install and configure operating systems, software, antivirus, and business applications.
- Maintain support tickets, issue logs, and IT documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates may apply.
- Internship, trainee experience, final year projects, or hands-on labs related to Azure, networking, servers, or IT support will be preferred.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud computing.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as IP address, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, and VPN.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic server concepts.
- Basic understanding of SQL Server and IIS will be an advantage.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, CCNA, Google IT Support, CompTIA A+, or Network+ will be a plus.
