Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day cloud infrastructure operations, including provisioning, troubleshooting, migration, and maintenance.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, ensuring uptime and cost-effectiveness.
- Define and execute the organization's cloud strategy, driving scalability, operational efficiency, and high availability.
- Align cloud initiatives with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Oversee multi-cloud implementations supporting both public (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud architectures.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors and 9 or more years of related experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud solutions.
- Experience administering cloud-native services and architectures (containers, microservices, serverless).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, Kubernetes, GitLab).
- Experience with ITIL standards and change management
Qualifications and Skills:
- Azure Administrator associate or Azure Network Engineer Associate Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to develop and implement multi-cloud or hybrid cloud strategies.
- Knowledge of agile development and DevOps methodologies.
- Technical expertise in cloud platforms, excellent leadership qualities, and the ability to innovate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Deep understanding of cloud security practices, networking, and cost governance within cloud environments.
- Strong familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog).
- Ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations and lead teams during critical events
- Ability to obtain and maintain an FDIC Public Trust
- Ability to successfully pass the SAIC Background investigation to establish a start date
Desired:
Familiarity with cloud and edge facilities within hybrid IT environments.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification
