Job Description: - Azure MS Fabric Data Engineer: -
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in data engineering, cloud-based architecture, and Agile delivery. You will work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to implement scalable, secure, and high-performing data pipelines and models.
Key Responsibilities:
. Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions using Microsoft Fabric components (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Power BI).
. Develop and maintain data models for analytics and reporting.
. Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
. Automate data processes and implement CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
. Integrate data from multiple sources into a unified Fabric environment.
. Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement).
. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for reliability and efficiency.
. Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.
. Maintain technical documentation for data pipelines, architecture, and processes.
Required Qualification:
. Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering roles, preferably in cloud-based data platforms.
. 5+ years of relevant experience including programming knowledge (i.e SQL, Python, C#, etc)
. Experience architecting, design, developing and maintaining data warehouses/ data lakes for complex data ecosystems.
. Expert in data and database management including data pipeline responsibilities in replication and mass ingestion, streaming, API and application and data integration.
. Design and optimize complex data transformation and integration from various data sources.
. Proficiency in cloud data warehousing and experience with the concept of medallion architecture.
. Experience in developing required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources using ADF, Notebooks or other technologies.
. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and disseminate significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Fabric components (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Power BI).
. Expertise in SQL and ETL/ELT processes.
. Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for automation.
. Experience with Azure services and CI/CD pipelines.
. Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban).
. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
. Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or information system, or equivalent experience.
. Microsoft certifications in Azure Data Engineer or Fabric.
. Experience with big data technologies and performance tuning.
. Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
