B1 Licensed Engineer

Position: B1 Licensed Engineer
Location: Dubai
Type: Dual Role - Hangar & Flying Duties

Volantes Technical Recruitment are seeking a skilled and adaptable B1 Licensed Engineer to join a VVIP operation. This unique role combines scheduled hangar maintenance with in-flight engineering support, requiring both technical expertise and operational flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled hangar maintenance and post-flight troubleshooting

• Provide in-flight engineering support during short or long-haul operations

• Support general aircraft operations, including delegated duties and housekeeping

• Work as part of a 24-hour roster covering both hangar and flying duties

• Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all operational matters

Requirements

• Full, unrestricted B1 license (GCAA preferred, EASA/UK accepted)

• Type ratings on: B747-400 (PW4000 required) plus B737NG and/or B777

• Must hold a European passport (no Schengen visa requirement)

• Fit and presentable for VVIP duties

• Flexible and able to adapt to changing schedules at short notice
