About the Role
Matlaay is seeking a dynamic and results-driven B2B Marketing & Partnerships Executive to expand our restaurant network and build strategic collaborations with universities, corporate offices, and institutions. The role primarily focuses on onboarding restaurants onto our platform and developing mutually beneficial partnerships that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Restaurant Onboarding & Vendor Acquisition
- Identify, approach, and onboard restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and food outlets onto the Matlaay platform
- Conduct in-person meetings and presentations with restaurant owners and management
- Explain product features, commission structures, and operational processes
- Negotiate partnership terms and finalize agreements
- Coordinate with operations and tech teams for smooth onboarding and activation
- Maintain long-term relationships with partner restaurants
Institutional & University Partnerships
- Establish collaborations with universities, hostels, campuses, and corporate offices
- Plan promotional drives, food stalls, and activation campaigns within campuses
- Develop student ambassador or campus partner programs
- Coordinate marketing events, discount campaigns, and awareness activities
Account Growth & Relationship Management
- Monitor partner performance and provide improvement recommendations
- Resolve vendor issues and ensure partner satisfaction
- Work with marketing team to run joint promotions and campaigns
- Collect feedback from partners and share insights with management
Market Development
- Research potential food businesses and expansion areas
- Track competitor activities and market trends
- Suggest strategies to improve vendor acquisition and retention
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, marketing, partnerships, or vendor acquisition (preferably in food delivery, FMCG, hospitality, or marketplace platforms)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to conduct field visits and meetings with business owners
- Relationship-building and networking skills
- Basic understanding of digital platforms and mobile applications
- Self-motivated and target-oriented personality
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with restaurants or food delivery platforms
- Existing network in food businesses or campuses
- Event marketing or activation campaign experience
- CRM or reporting tools experience (Excel/Google Sheets)
