Babysitter

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated babysitter to provide attentive childcare and maintain a clean, organized home environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess a nurturing attitude. This role offers an opportunity to support a family with their daily routines, ensuring a safe, engaging, and hygienic setting for children while assisting with light household chores. You will be assisting and giving a hand when needed in watching our 2 children, one is a 2 year old and other is an infant. A family member will always be around to primarily take care of the kids but having another person would be helpful. Looking for someone to work only Wednesdays (8:30am-5:30pm) and possibly additional days in the future.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in age-appropriate activities, play, and educational experiences such as teaching
• May have to assist with diapering, feeding, and other caregiving duties
• Perform household cleaning tasks including, tidying up children's areas, and general housekeeping duties
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and supervising children at all times

Qualifications

• Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks
• Experience working with children
• Excellent communication skills and patience when working with children and families
• Reliable transportation or valid driver’s license preferred
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for caring for children
