Located at: Alameda and Kiplin
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Family is open to 3 consistent days per week from 7:30a-2:30p. They are happy to guarantee 21 hours/week. The weekly schedule must contain Wednesdays. They're also open to incorporating Saturday as one of the days, if desired.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out position
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 6+ months - longer if it’s a great match (they are currently on a daycare waitlist).
Start Date: ASAP

Children's Ages: Care will be for one sweet baby girl, who is 7 months old.

About the Children:
This sweet little lady is on a great schedule, napping consistently 3 times day. While she's not yet mobile, she's on her way! The family is slowing introducing solids, and she's breastfed throughout the day.
This happy, healthy, inquisitive child loves to take long walks around the neighborhood and be outdoors. No on-the-job driving is required.

About the Family:
Dad works outside of the home full-time while mom stays at home full-time. They are very excited to welcome another wonderful nanny into their home.

About the Pets:
There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:
This family had a lovely relationship with their last nanny. They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.
Key Responsibilities
A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
All standard nanny duties including are required, including doing the baby's laundry and bed linens, making her meals, keeping her room and common areas tidy.

Travel Requirements:
No travel is required.
Desired Skills And Abilities
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…
All candidates must have year 2 years of infant experience to be considered for the position.
Previous experience working with parents at home is a plus.
All candidates must have a high school diploma or higher.
The ideal candidate for this position must be proactive and willing to take initiative to pitch in around the home with little (but helpful) tasks like restocking items in the nursery, putting toys away at the end of the shift, and emptying the dishwasher when it's full etc. Further, reliability is important in this role - they need you to show up, on time, every work day. This sweet family is truly looking for a nanny who will love their baby, be helpful, and reliable - they are very open to beginner or career nannies.
Compensation And Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):
The family is offering $30-$38/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:
This family is offering guaranteed hours, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement IF driving is ever needed on the job.

Any Additional Perks:
EX: This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement of $150-$350/month and relocation assistance based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu.
