Job Title: Babysitter

Schedule: Caregivers must be available at least three weekdays between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM for 8–10 hour shifts (example: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM or 8:00 AM–6:00 PM). This position focuses on childcare only.

About the Role

TLC Family Care is seeking dependable and nurturing babysitters and childcare providers to support families in their homes throughout the St. Louis area. This position is dedicated to providing in-home childcare.

For more than 40 years, TLC Family Care has connected families with qualified caregivers. Our team coordinates scheduling and family placements so caregivers can focus on delivering attentive and reliable care.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, in-home care for children of various ages
• Plan and supervise age-appropriate activities
• Assist with meals, snacks, naps, and daily routines
• Maintain a safe and organized environment
• Communicate daily updates with parents or guardians

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of childcare experience (nannying, babysitting, daycare, or similar)
• Two professional childcare references
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Availability for at least three weekdays between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Ability to commit to at least three months of employment
• Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience caring for multiple children
• Experience supporting structured routines or educational activities

Pay and Benefits

• Hourly pay ranging from $19–$21, depending on assignment

Work Environment

Care is provided in private family homes. Assignments may vary based on family needs and caregiver availability. Some shifts are scheduled in advance, and occasional short-notice coverage may be requested.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
