Babysitter for Infant

Job Overview
We are looking for a responsible, caring babysitter to provide attentive care for our 6-month-old baby in our home. The ideal candidate will be experienced with infants, reliable, and comfortable in a household with a friendly Labrador retriever.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive infant care, feeding, diapering, naps, safe play.
• Prepare bottles, wash and sterilize bottles and pump parts.
• Prepare simple baby meals or purees as developmentally appropriate.
• Baby laundry and nursery tidying, wipe down high chair and play areas.
• Restock diapers, wipes, formula, and organize baby gear.
• Log feeds, diapers, naps, and activities.
• Light kitchen cleanup related to baby care.
• Communicate daily updates to parents.
• Comfortable with a dog in the home. No pet care required.

Requirements

• 2+ years of paid infant experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid for infants or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Two recent professional references.
• Reliable transportation.
• 18 years or older.
• Non-smoker.
• Able to lift and carry 25 pounds safely.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with sleep routines, bottle feeding, and introducing solids.
• Early childhood education or similar training a plus.

Schedule:

• Part-time, flexible hours.
• Evenings and weekends may be requested with advance notice.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate: $15–18/hr, depending on experience
• Flexible scheduling
• Paid Time Off (PTO) benefit: 2–3 paid days off annually, available after 6 months of employment
