Babysitter/Nanny

Seeking Babysitter/Nanny in the Parkersburg, WV / Marietta, OH Area

We are looking for a responsible, loving, and experienced individual to help care for our two young children (ages 1 and 2). This opportunity can be either part-time or full-time, depending on the right candidate's availability and fit. PLEASE READ: MUST HAVE WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY AVAILABILITY. We currently have care during normal business hours M-F, and are looking for evenings, weekends, and holidays or when main care is not available, will likely total 30 hrs/week estimated.

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone with proven experience caring for young children, especially toddlers and infants.
• Must be available on weekends and during evenings.
• A non-smoker who can create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our kids.
• Clear background check required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
• A positive, patient, and energetic personality is a must!

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Prepare meals and snacks, catering to dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas and children's belongings.
• Administer first aid and CPR as needed, ensuring a safe environment for all children in care.
• Communicate effectively with parents about children's daily activities and any concerns.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $13.25 per hour
