Back End Developer

Role: Backend Engineer (Java / C#)

Location: Dubai, UAE (On-site)

Type: Full-time

Experience: 2 to 8 years

A Dubai-based FinTech firm is building institutional-grade infrastructure for quantitative research, trading, and risk management. The team develops high-performance backend systems used directly by trading and research teams.

This is a core systems engineering role focused on performance, reliability, and correctness. It is not a UI role and not traditional CRUD application development.

What You’ll Work On

• Backend services for research, backtesting, and live trading platforms

• Trade execution infrastructure and internal tooling

• Risk and reporting systems

• Data-intensive and performance-sensitive services

• Internal APIs supporting trading and research workflows

Required Experience

• Strong backend engineering background in Java or C# / .NET

• Experience working with production-grade systems

• Good understanding of concurrency and multithreading

• Experience building API-driven, data-heavy services

• Strong problem-solving skills
