Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Backend Engineer to support the development of backend services and APIs. This role provides an opportunity to grow technical skills while working alongside experienced engineers on scalable software platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-availability server-side applications and APIs.
• Optimize database schemas and perform query tuning for maximum performance.
• Implement secure data protection and user authentication protocols.
• Integrate third-party services and maintain internal system interfaces.
• Write clean, modular, and testable code with high unit test coverage.
• Collaborate with Frontend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of backend development experience.
• Problem solving
• Collaboration and teamwork
• Node.js, Python, or Go
• SQL / NoSQL database design
• Backend development tools and software engineering platforms.
• Ability to develop backend features under supervision.
• Ability to write clean and maintainable code.
• Ability to collaborate within engineering teams.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
