About this opportunity:

BO IGW engineer is part of MS team who will manage and operate international gateway network through performing all 2nd level operations activities.

What you will do:

• Second Line MS engineer responsible for IGW and Roaming with international Carriers.
• Responsible for project support integration & new nodes’ acceptance.
• Follow up on the PLMN and PSTN interconnect activities either internally with the planning and business teams or externally with other carriers.
• Providing technical solutions regarding hardware and configuration problems in agreed time frame
• Troubleshoots and resolves any technical problems related to IGWs and interconnect.
• Ensuring fast response, accurate actions, and decisions during crisis.
• Analyze the IGW and interconnect KPIs to maintain and improve these.
• Conduct the acceptance testing for any new IGWs, or any new carrier to be integrated to the network.
• Handling CSRs with customer support team E2E.
• Revising the new projects’ documentations (HLD, LLD ATP…. etc.)
• Leading major cases troubleshooting with other domains (ex. IMS Fixed and Mobile).

The skills you bring:

• 3+ years of experience in IGW and PLMN interconnect operations and maintenance.
• Graduated from Communication Engineering.
• Excellent Knowledge of Ericsson switching platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of IGW & interconnect traffic measurements and KPIs
• Excellent knowledge of International Mobile Roaming
• Excellent knowledge of IGW & interconnect operation procedures.
• Excellent knowledge of international standards (related to IGWs & interconnect)
• Ability to work under stress & pressure.
• Good command of English (writing & speaking).
• Expert in the use of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Excellent report-writing skills
• Autonomous, able to work without supervision.
• Creative, problem solving, adaptable, flexible, assertive and persuasive.
