Job Description


Job Summary :

The Back-Office Sales role supports the commercial organization by managing pricing activities, coordinating sales processes, and ensuring the accuracy of key sales data. This role acts as a central point of contact between internal teams, plants, and customers, contributing to effective decision-making, operational efficiency, and the successful execution of sales strategies.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Deliver assigned commercial and administrative objectives; initiate corrective actions when performance does not meet expectations.
  • Prepare, manage, and maintain pricing documentation and standard aftermarket price offers across customers, product groups, and defined periods.
  • Develop, consolidate, and distribute comprehensive sales reports and statistics, including data on customers, products, pricing, volumes, and trends.
  • Support the formulation and implementation of sales strategies in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal, corporate, and departmental policies and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate and monitor commercial interactions and information flow between Wabtec plants, internal teams, and end customers.
  • Track offer parameters and monitor variances against approved annual pricing guidelines.
  • Follow up on commercial disputes involving plants, customers, or suppliers, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Proactively identify and escalate potential commercial risks or issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Internal Process Responsibilities – TSG & OE Sales
  • Lead S&O TSG entries and updates, including won/lost status tracking.
  • Lead coordination of GO/NO‑GO and Bid/No‑Bid review processes.
  • Support the submission and management of CPQ and SISCAT requests.
  • Lead end‑to‑end follow‑up of the CPQ offer process to ensure timely progress and alignment with sales requirements.
  • Lead the organization and execution of tender review meetings.
  • Support win/loss and post‑mortem review activities and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date business data in Salesforce to support forecasting and decision-making.

Required Qualifications and Experience :


  • University degree,
  • Min. 5 years’ business experience within Banking & Insurance Industry, Retail/Production Controlling or similar,
  • Creativity and sense of initiative,
  • Organizational skills and self-management of priorities,
  • Ability to negotiate within task scope,
  • Ability to work in a team,
  • Good interpersonal skills (effective work with onsite & remote, internal & external multi-cultural contacts),
  • Flexible and proactive,
  • Use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP applications (e.g. Salesforce/CPQ, Oracle),
  • Fluent both written and spoken in Turkish and English; other languages are an asset,
  • Understand and apply concepts of corporate bid and sales processes; standard local commercial processes; Turkish public sector processes,
  • Male candidates: completed military service.


Preferred:

  • Candidates living in İstanbul/Europe
  • Candidates experienced in split weekly office & home-office work
