Backend Developer

About Us

MVP Application and Game Design is a growing technology company specializing in custom software solutions, mobile applications, and game development. We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in NestJS and/or Laravel to join our dynamic team and help us deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using NestJS (Node.js) and/or Laravel (PHP).
• Collaborate with frontend developers, mobile developers, and product managers to deliver robust solutions.
• Ensure high performance, security, scalability, and responsiveness of applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems.
• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and payment gateways as needed.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with NestJS and/or Laravel.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (for NestJS) and/or PHP (for Laravel).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, database design, and ORM frameworks (e.g., Prisma, TypeORM, Eloquent).
• Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
• Good understanding of Git/GitHub version control and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: E£15,000.00 - E£30,000.00 per month
