Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Backend Developer to join our growing team in Bengaluru. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic and databases that power our applications. You will work closely with front-end developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Node.js, Express.js, SQL, and PostgreSQL and is passionate about building scalable and efficient systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Develop and manage relational databases using SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest backend development trends and technologies.
• Contribute to the overall system architecture and design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js.
• Experience with relational databases, particularly SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
